The same ABC article commented that listing Regina as #1 is possibly anti-climatic. Anti-climatic?? Be damn proud for listing Regina as #1! Typical so-called professional reviewer who is concerned about satisfying the readers. Just pour your true feelings and the rest will surely follow.
With that said, my favorite 2012 album is easily "What We Saw From the Cheap Seats". (And no, I'm not just saying that because I'm posting this her website). Other favorites of 2012 would be: Jack White's "Blunderbuss", Cat Power's "Sun", and Japanroids' "Celebration Rock."
Regina, keep writing and I can't wait to hear what you have to offer for your next album!! Merry X-mas and happy New Year!!
